SHONDA PRESCOTT – OHANA BOOKKEEPER, ACCOUNTANT, MS IN ACCOUNTING

Shonda’s interest in accounting started in high school where she took her first accounting classes during her junior and senior years.  After that, there was no question what she wanted to major in by the time she got to college.  She earned a couple of degrees from Oklahoma State University.  Although she worked with large international companies during her audit internship, she discovered that she preferred smaller companies and chose that direction after graduating.  Several years later, she decided to start teaching both accounting and QuickBooks on a part time basis because she wanted to spread her love of accounting to others in her spare time.  Shonda is passionate about helping people reach their financial goals and knows it all starts with knowing your numbers.
